Post-Licensing Education (PL) (Schedule)
Post-Licensing Education (PL): Classroom (Trainee Appraisers Only).
Registered trainee appraisers must satisfactorily complete 45 hours of post-licensing classroom education PLUS 3 hours review and update of the Florida Real Estate Appraisal License Law prior to the second renewal following initial registration.
NOTE 1: During the licensure period in which the post-licensing education is completed, the trainee appraiser is EXEMPT from the continuing education requirement.
NOTE 2: There is NO post-licensing education requirement if a trainee appraiser is issued a certified appraiser license prior to the second renewal following initial registration.
Any combination of the following courses satisfy the 45-hour post-licensing education requirement. NOTE: These courses have been approved for BOTH qualifying education (QE) and post-licensing education (PE). A student taking the course for post-licensing education will be issued two completion certificates, one for PL and one for QE. Thus a trainee appraiser who completes 45 hours of post-licensing education will need only 55 hours of additional appraisal qualifying education to meet the 100-hour additional education requirement for certified residential appraiser.
