Continuing Education (CE): Online
An appraiser (registered trainee, certified residential, and certified general) must successfully complete a minimum of 30 hours of continuing education during each 2-year licensure period.
A minimum of 10 hours (of the 30 required) must include an upgrade of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (7 hours) AND a review and update of the Florida Real Estate Appraisal License Law (3 hours).
NOTE 1: A registered or certified appraiser is NOT required to complete the 30 hours of continuing education if the time between the effective date of the initial registration or certification and the renewal date is less than 12 months.
NOTE 2: A registered trainee does NOT have a continuing education requirement during the 2-year licensure period that he or she completes the post-licensing education requirement.

- CE 405 - Sales Comparison Approach (7 hours)
- CE 406 - Residential Cost Approach (7 hours)
- CE 407 - Income Approach: An Overview (7 hours)
- CE 408 - Introduction to Commercial Appraisal (3 hours)
- CE 409 - Mortgage Fraud (7 hours)
